History of Kedarnath Temple
According to Hindu beliefs, the Pandavas built the original Kedarnath Temple to seek forgiveness from Lord Shiva after the Mahabharata war. The present structure is believed to have been revived by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. Despite harsh weather and natural calamities, the temple continues to stand as a powerful symbol of faith, devotion, and resilience.
