History of Golden Temple
The Golden Temple was founded by Guru Ram Das in the 16th century and later completed by Guru Arjan Dev, who also installed the Guru Granth Sahib here. Over time, it was adorned with gold by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It stands today as a symbol of faith, humility, and universal brotherhood.
